Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dadá Leite succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 18th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Destroncadedo FC's zone, Romário Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Prestes came out of the goal and Romário Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulisses Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Juarês Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Juarês Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Topazio EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Aguiar couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Romário Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romário Reis to make the kick off. Topazio EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséas Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Destroncadedo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Topazio EC the free kick. Oséas Prestes made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Juarês Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. Juarês Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Oséas Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséas Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With his leg Oséas Prestes managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Topazio EC's Juarês Aguiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Topazio EC booed when Destroncadedo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position.
