With his leg Manoel Pirani managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Oficial American Club's Nilmar Arósio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tiaguinho Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oficial American Club were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Tricolor Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiaguinho Ortiz took the corner. After taking down the ball on Oficial American Club's corner Eliseu Bertassi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manoel Pirani quite easily take care of the ball. After 80 played minutes Tricolor Fc got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo de Mendonça. When Renan Valle fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tricolor Fc's protests and gave Renan Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Manoel Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Arósio in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Tiaguinho Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Dalmo dos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manoel Pirani, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Oficial American Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tricolor Fc.
