When Osvaldo Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oficial American Club's protests and gave Osvaldo Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Osvaldo Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Vito Cardoso notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Oficial American Club's Conrado de Salles. Conrado de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19thth minute of the game Albino Steven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oficial American Club's Conrado de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Steven in the 22nd minute of play forced Oficial American Club's goalkeeper Conrado de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmo dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Cristiano Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oficial American Club. Andi Abend took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado de Salles. Conrado de Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Conrado de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Conrado de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Conrado de Salles came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians Paulista's Vito Cardoso. But to his dismay, Vito Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The throw-in from Nestor de Alcântara in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Corinthians Paulista's Vito Cardoso. In the 44th minute, Tomás Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Coutinho made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Oficial American Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Albino Steven made a precise shot to the right of Conrado de Salles. Oficial American Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Evandro Pena hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Vito Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado de Salles having to interfere. When Eliseu Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oficial American Club's protests and gave Eliseu Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Oficial American Club getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eliseu Bertassi hit a great ball. Oficial American Club's Conrado de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Oficial American Club from getting a goal against them. When Sandrinho Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corinthians Paulista's protests and gave Sandrinho Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Corinthians Paulista's Sandrinho Carneiro got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Oficial American Club's Tiaguinho Ortiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 71st minute, Nestor de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado de Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andi Abend in the 77th minute. Corinthians Paulista's Evandro Pena suffered a sore thigh after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Corinthians Paulista booed when Oficial American Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Corinthians Paulista's Kléber Valle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conrado de Salles. Conrado de Salles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 87th minute, Albino Steven reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado de Salles. The goal made the score 0-9. After a rather tough play, Oficial American Club's Dalmo dos Santos got a free kick in the 91st minute. Conrado de Salles was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Albino Steven capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albino Steven really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Corinthians Paulista left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oficial American Club.
