Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Baltazar de Carvalho made the kick off which started today's match. Baltazar de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guto Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Manoel Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Tricolor Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar de Carvalho came free, but Manoel Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Leme having to interfere. Ernani Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo de Mendonça went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Enrique França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ernani Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Siriji's Guto Cordeiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manoel Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evaristo de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Siriji's Dinei Maia challenged an opponent after 29 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Maria Freire during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tricolor Fc's José Maria Freire got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ernani Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Pirani came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Siriji's Guto Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Guto Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Evaristo de Mendonça sped through Siriji's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernani Leme. Evaristo de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernani Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. Manoel Pirani came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Siriji's Sidney da Silva. But to his dismay, Sidney da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo de Mendonça to make the kick off. Enrique França hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Tricolor Fc were furious when Fernandinho Teles was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 60 minutes into the game, one of Tricolor Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Reinaldo Trigo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Evaristo de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Guto Cordeiro notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Tricolor Fc's Manoel Pirani. Manoel Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76thth minute of the game Guto Cordeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tricolor Fc's Manoel Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guto Cordeiro in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manoel Pirani saved Tricolor Fc from getting behind. Sidney da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Manoel Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Tricolor Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Cordeiro came free, but Manoel Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo de Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ernani Leme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Guto Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joélson Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Leme having to interfere. Evaristo de Mendonças short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Ernani Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Siriji's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
