After 10 played minutes Laions FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Paulista. In the 10th minute of the match Serafim Mattos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernani Custódio skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Lucas Vasconcelos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hernani Custódio to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Lucas Vasconcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernani Custódio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lucas Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Custódio having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Laions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Vasconcelos came free, but Hernani Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Edgar Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Laions FC's Manuel Gaspar got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Tróia in the 61st minute of play forced Laions FC's goalkeeper Hernani Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lucas Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the invictus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Álvaro Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Custódio having to interfere. Hernani Custódio came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by invictus's Lucas Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Lucas Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. invictus's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
