Maicon Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Ramalho in the 5th minute of play. Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Leme Chargers from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute Zé Carlos Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Zé Carlos Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maicon Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Leme Chargers booed when Guerreiros da Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes, Adhemar Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guerreiros da Real and the Leme Chargers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guerreiros da Real getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Adhemar Mesquita hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes, Leme Chargers's Gilberto Branco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reginaldo Guimarães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leme Chargers reached it. After 31 minutes of play, Leme Chargers's Tostão da Costa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reginaldo Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 played minutes Leme Chargers got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Silva. Maicon Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Carlos Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maicon Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Matos in the 51st minute of play. Zé Carlos Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Vieira having to interfere. Maicon Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Ramalho in the 63rd minute of play. Cristiano Matorin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos Ramalho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maicon Vieira saved Leme Chargers from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Real's goalkeeper Reginaldo Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão da Costa. If Adhemar Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Rafa Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Real's Zé Carlos Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maicon Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leme Chargers's Luís Paulo da Cunha got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Luís Paulo da Cunha off the ground. After 95 played minutes Leme Chargers got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo da Cunha. During the 97th minute of the match Cristiano Matorin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristiano Matorin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 98th minute, Cristiano Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute of the match Décio Dracena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maicon Vieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guerreiros da Real were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Leme Chargers for a fine match.
