Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Gerson Simões started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Jequi's João Pedro Prata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Perivaldo Barros. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. In the 6th minute, Jequi's Gigi Covaci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Perivaldo Barros. Perivaldo Barros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 10 minutes into the game, Juninho Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rúben Trigueiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Perivaldo Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Covaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo Barros came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jequi's Vicente Marques. But to his dismay, Vicente Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. vai quem quer's Perivaldo Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Covaci in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Marques in the 33rd minute of play forced vai quem quer's goalkeeper Perivaldo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juninho Souza during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juninho Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Gigi Covaci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but vai quem quer's Perivaldo Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Vicente Marques took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Perivaldo Barros to make any attempt to save it. After 42 played minutes Jequi got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Ceresso. In the 94th minute Gerson Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rúben Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jequi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of vai quem quer for a fine match.
