The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Recife during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes, Guerreiros da Real's Décio Dracena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adhemar Botelho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guerreiros da Real reached it. Adhemar Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Barbie F.C booed when Guerreiros da Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Real's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho de Godoi came free, but Reginaldo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Guerreiros da Real booed when Barbie F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginaldo Guimarães was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Edinho de Godoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edinho de Godoi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Barbie F.C booed when Guerreiros da Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zdzislaw Sienkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zdzislaw Sienkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes Guerreiros da Real's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Milosz Walec who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Barbie F.C's corner Milosz Walec fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reginaldo Guimarães quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Guerreiros da Real defense, Zdzislaw Sienkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reginaldo Guimarães. The Guerreiros da Real fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reginaldo Guimarães should have stopped the shot.
