The Guerreiros da Real fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reginaldo Guimarães should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Real's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Codrea came free, but Reginaldo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Irinel Codrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginaldo Guimarães was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Thunder Palmeiras's Irinel Codrea got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Irinel Codrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginaldo Guimarães was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Germano de Queirós hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Donato Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Reginaldo Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irinel Codrea's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Thunder Palmeiras's Giovani Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginaldo Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 36 played minutes Guerreiros da Real got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Matos. 47 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Real's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Codrea came free, but Reginaldo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Donato Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Adriano Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerreiros da Real. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Irinel Codrea put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Reginaldo Guimarães. Irinel Codrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Guimarães having to interfere. Reginaldo Guimarães came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Thunder Palmeiras's Irinel Codrea. But to his dismay, Irinel Codrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Thunder Palmeiras's Teo Afonso got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Irinel Codrea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reginaldo Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. After some careless play in the Guerreiros da Real defense, Teo Afonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reginaldo Guimarães. The Guerreiros da Real fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reginaldo Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Reginaldo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Codrea in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Thunder Palmeiras's Irinel Codrea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reginaldo Guimarães. Reginaldo Guimarães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. The Guerreiros da Real fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Thunder Palmeiras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
