Leme Chargers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Gerson Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. vai quem quer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maicon Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Santana in the 16th minute of play. Leme Chargers were furious when Dráusio Simão was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Maicon Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Narciso Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerson Simões in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maicon Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the game, Gerson Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Maicon Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Juninho Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Paraíba in the 37th minute of play forced Leme Chargers's goalkeeper Maicon Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerson Simões made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leme Chargers's zone, Narciso Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Vieira came out of the goal and Narciso Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vicente Silva fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leme Chargers's protests and gave Vicente Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Denílson Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Narciso Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maicon Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Maicon Vieira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. vai quem quer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denílson Paraíba in the 60th minute. vai quem quer's Raimundo de Mendonça was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maicon Vieira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maicon Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerson Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira got control of the ball when Narciso Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Denílson Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gerson Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon Vieira made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Alberto Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Cristiano Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zeca Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Leme Chargers's goalkeeper Maicon Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerson Simões. Maicon Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Miranda in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Gerson Simões fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 90 minutes into the game, Tostão da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Perivaldo Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Perivaldo Barros came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Leme Chargers's Tostão da Costa. But to his dismay, Tostão da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the match was over vai quem quer could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leme Chargers throughout the match.
