After a rather tough play, Petardo Futebol e Surf's Dadá Lara got a free kick in the 7th minute. Flavio Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Ronaldinho Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Telmo Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Petardo Futebol e Surf fans jumped to their feet. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Silviano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st minute, Jefferson Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Thunder Palmeiras getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Natã Quirino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gilabert Boñal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petardo Futebol e Surf's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilabert Boñal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Donato went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the game, Petardo Futebol e Surf's Telmo Vasconcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 35th match minute, Thunder Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilabert Boñal in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Irinel Codrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petardo Futebol e Surf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thunder Palmeiras the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Gilabert Boñal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Afonso in the 61st minute of play forced Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Flavio Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Britto was a little too slow when Jefferson Donato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-5. Thunder Palmeiras's Delfim Tinoco was substituted for Emanuel Freitas. 71 minutes into the match, Thunder Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Donato came free, but Adriano Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Dadá Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Adriano Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Thunder Palmeiras's Adriano Britto got control of the ball when Jefferson Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Jefferson Donato recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adriano Britto. Jefferson Donato showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Petardo Futebol e Surf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
