Gerson Simões had several of the Barbie F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adhemar Botelho as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 12 played minutes vai quem quer got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo de Mendonça. Milosz Walec took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Barros. Perivaldo Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the vai quem quer defense, Milosz Walec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perivaldo Barros. The vai quem quer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Barros should have stopped the shot. Perivaldo Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Sienkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Raimundo de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Luis Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Santana got free with Adhemar Botelho in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barbie F.C's Edinho de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Milosz Walec came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Barbie F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milosz Walec couldn't finish the play. Gerson Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerson Simões was the one to do the kick off. Barbie F.C's Adhemar Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Simões in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of vai quem quer booed when Barbie F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerson Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerson Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adhemar Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milosz Walec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Diogo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. vai quem quer's Denílson Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barbie F.C made a substitution. Armando Linares replaced Edinho de Godoi. After 75 minutes of play, vai quem quer's Juninho Souza made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adhemar Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Barbie F.C getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Angelo Moraes hit a great ball. Gerson Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Linares in the 91st minute of play forced vai quem quer's goalkeeper Perivaldo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerson Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Botelho having to interfere. Luis Enaut hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The vai quem quer support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
