The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mandalas's Manuel Salles suffered a concussion after 3 minutes and had to leave the field. After 3 minutes, Júlio Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A. Jurupoca and the Mandalas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mandalas's Válbson Galvão was substituted for Manuel Salles. The supporters of Mandalas booed when A. Jurupoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mandalas's Marquinhos Ramalho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 8 minutes of play, Mandalas's Marquinhos Ramalho made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of A. Jurupoca booed when Mandalas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. A. Jurupoca's Sérgio Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save A. Jurupoca from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Ramalho in the 20th minute of play forced A. Jurupoca's goalkeeper Sérgio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Luan Silveira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio Barbosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marquinhos Ramalho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 25th playminute. Luan Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Sérgio Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marquinhos Ramalho's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Ramalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Sérgio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44thth minute of the game Marquinhos Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. Jurupoca's Sérgio Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Luan Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandalas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A. Jurupoca the free kick. Luan Silveira hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Sérgio Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Linus Ström's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Marquinhos Ramalho made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. A. Jurupoca's Sérgio Barbosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marquinhos Ramalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Marquinhos Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mandalas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
