The supporters of Jaguaré FC booed when Barbie F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarbas de Alcântara went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Barbie F.C's Edinho de Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matias Abbondanzieri. Matias Abbondanzieri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Emanuele Caccia struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Adhemar Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaguaré FC. Jaguaré FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Barbie F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente dos Santos took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Barbie F.C's goalie and right to Emanuele Caccia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Barbie F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Milosz Walec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Jaguaré FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Milosz Walec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdzislaw Sienkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Abbondanzieri having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jaguaré FC's zone, Luis Enaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Abbondanzieri came out of the goal and Luis Enaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Enaut hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Adhemar Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas de Alcântara in the 39th minute of the match. Adhemar Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Caccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Jaguaré FC's Emanuele Caccia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adhemar Botelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When Zdzislaw Sienkowski came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Barbie F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Sienkowski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Jaguaré FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alex Oliveira hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuele Caccia in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adhemar Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, Jaguaré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Walec came free, but Matias Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Jaguaré FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuele Caccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas de Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adhemar Botelho having to make a save. Matias Abbondanzieri came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbie F.C's Zdzislaw Sienkowski. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Sienkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Zdzislaw Sienkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Abbondanzieri having to interfere. Matias Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Walec in the 81st minute of play. If Jarbas de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Zdzislaw Sienkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
