Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gigi Covaci got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilabert Boñal in the 4th minute of play forced Jequi's goalkeeper Rúben Trigueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Petardo Futebol e Surf were awarded a corner. Rafinha Veiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Rafinha Veiga made a great header on Petardo Futebol e Surf's corner, it was just that Jequi's Rúben Trigueiro managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Jequi defense, Gilabert Boñal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rúben Trigueiro. The Jequi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rúben Trigueiro should have stopped the shot. Rúben Trigueiro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Petardo Futebol e Surf's Gilabert Boñal. But to his dismay, Gilabert Boñal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Petardo Futebol e Surf fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 24th minute of the game, Jequi got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Gilabert Boñal sped through Jequi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rúben Trigueiro. After 35 minutes, Gilabert Boñal made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Jequi's Rúben Trigueiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jefferson Donato during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Jefferson Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

After 53 minutes, Váldson Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jequi and the Petardo Futebol e Surf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jequi's Rúben Trigueiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilabert Boñal in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Gilabert Boñal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rúben Trigueiro, 1-5. Jequi's Rúben Trigueiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Jequi from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Facundo Quiroga during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Facundo Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 1-6 became the score in the 63rd minute when Gilabert Boñal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gilabert Boñal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Rúben Trigueiro made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Rúben Trigueiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd match minute, Jequi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Marques to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Covaci in the 74th minute of play forced Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Flavio Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Jequi's Rúben Trigueiro got control of the ball when Jefferson Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rúben Trigueiro was a little too slow when Jefferson Donato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-7. Petardo Futebol e Surf made a substitution. Jeremias Moreira replaced Gilabert Boñal. Jeremias Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rúben Trigueiro having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Váldson Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Moreira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rúben Trigueiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremias Moreira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jeremias Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petardo Futebol e Surf's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rúben Trigueiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petardo Futebol e Surf played a much better game than Jequi and deserved their victory. The Jequi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
