Edinho de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Vieira having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Leme Chargers got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo da Cunha. In the 14th minute, Júlio Madureira had to leave the field with a concussion. When Rodolfo Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbie F.C's protests and gave Rodolfo Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. Edinho de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Botelho having to interfere. If Tostão da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Sienkowski couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Leme Chargers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edinho de Godoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maicon Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho de Godoi in the 39th minute of the match. Zdzislaw Sienkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Maicon Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zdzislaw Sienkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tostão da Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Milosz Walec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leme Chargers's Maicon Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tostão da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Adhemar Botelho made a huge save. After 62 minutes, Adilson Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leme Chargers and the Barbie F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute Milosz Walec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Sienkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edinho de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Barbie F.C's Armando Linares was substituted for Edinho de Godoi. Tostão da Costa struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Adhemar Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leme Chargers. If Armando Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
