Luís Fábio Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute Hílton Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Astoria FC's Lino Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esporte Clube Vitória's Luís Fábio Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Teixeira in the 22nd minute of play. Logan Bain took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Mangueira. Toninho Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luís Fábio Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Vitória's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Vargas came free, but Luís Fábio Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esporte Clube Vitória's Luís Fábio Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Barral in the 32nd minute of play. Luís Fábio Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Vargas in the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real Astoria FC's zone, Logan Bain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Mangueira came out of the goal and Logan Bain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Vargas in the 39th minute of play forced Esporte Clube Vitória's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio Costa came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Real Astoria FC's Enrique Teixeira. But to his dismay, Enrique Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Luís Fábio Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes Esporte Clube Vitória got a freekick which was hit by Logan Bain.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Logan Bain to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Fábio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Pinho in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Lino Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Real Astoria FC's Baltazar Vargas got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Hílton Pinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luís Fábio Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Pinho in the 72nd minute of play forced Esporte Clube Vitória's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Logan Bain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Vitória's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Pinho came free, but Luís Fábio Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Hílton Pinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Fábio Costa, 1-4. 84 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Vitória's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hílton Pinho. With a little luck, Esporte Clube Vitória's Luís Fábio Costa got control of the ball when Lino Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Astoria FC's Jardel Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Fábio Costa. That made the score 1-5 after 92 minutes of play. In the 95th minute, Logan Bain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Real Astoria FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Esporte Clube Vitória.
