Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teodoro Linares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Antônio Tepedino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Jansson went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Alberto Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Tepedino was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Alberto Varela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antônio Tepedino. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 19th minute Alfredão Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualter Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Leme having to interfere. Juan Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Domingues in the 24th minute of the match. Antônio Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 29 played minutes Fedegoso FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Vidal. After some careless play in the Ibitinga defense, Paulão Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Leme. The Ibitinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Leme should have stopped the shot. Juan Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Ferraz in the 44th minute of the match. Juan Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Jansson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Tepedino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Teodoro Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Vidal came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan Leme could save by the left post. A collision led to Fedegoso FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alfredão Travassos hit a great ball. Gualter Tinoco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Fedegoso FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luís Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Juan Leme made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Enio Leal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Leme. That made the score 3-2 in the 76 minute of play. Paulão Domingues was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Fedegoso FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ibitinga's Alberto Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
