Albertinho Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, °CuzetaFC°®'s goalkeeper José Pedro Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Vidal. Manfredo Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Tepedino having to interfere. After a rather tough play, °CuzetaFC°®'s Mário Linares got a free kick in the 18th minute. José Pedro Alves was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Gualter Tinoco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gualter Tinoco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Linares in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Tepedino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Manfredo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Maia during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fedegoso FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Paulo Maia hit a great ball. Antônio Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Manfredo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Manfredo Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Tepedino. José Pedro Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Tinoco in the 59th minute of the match. Fedegoso FC's Antônio Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Campidelis in the 62nd minute of play. José Pedro Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Angelo Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murillo Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Antônio Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio Andrade's late challenge caught a °CuzetaFC°®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A long shot from Alfredão Goiano in the 77th minute of play was well struck, but Antônio Tepedino made a really good save at the right post. In the 81st minute Mário Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Fedegoso FC a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Maia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of °CuzetaFC°®'s José Pedro Alves. 3-1. José Pedro Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Vidal in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Vidal in the 96th minute of play forced °CuzetaFC°®'s goalkeeper José Pedro Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
