But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão Travassos couldn't finish the play. Caio Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Tinoco in the 13th minute of play. Sea of Thieves FC's Caio Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Sea of Thieves FC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Hugon Turok notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fedegoso FC's Antônio Tepedino. Antônio Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the game, Sebastian Pietrowiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Antônio Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fedegoso FC's Antônio Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Turok in the 31st minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fedegoso FC's goalkeeper Antônio Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Pedro de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Fedegoso FC's Paulo Maia tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Sea of Thieves FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Vianna. After 47 played minutes Sea of Thieves FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro de Brito. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualter Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Pietrowiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hugon Turok could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Antônio Tepedino made a huge save. After 81 minutes, Alfredão Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fedegoso FC and the Sea of Thieves FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfredão Travassos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Sebastian Pietrowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Tepedino having to interfere. Antônio Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Pietrowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Fedegoso FC's Antônio Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Fedegoso FC from getting a goal against them. Sea of Thieves FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
