The supporters of Real Astoria FC booed when Ibitinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Varela hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Toninho Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Leme was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Carlos Mattos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Mattos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Hílton Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzvyatko Lichkov in the 15th minute of the match. Hílton Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ibitinga's Juan Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ibitinga from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Baltazar Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ibitinga getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Vágner Secco hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Ibitinga got a freekick which was hit by Breno dos Santos. After having played for 28 minutes, Enrique Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Astoria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Alberto Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Ibitinga's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Mattos came free, but Juan Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Leme was a little too slow when Carlos Mattos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. Toninho Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Juan Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibitinga's Juan Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ibitinga from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Real Astoria FC defense, Evert Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hílton Pinho. The Real Astoria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton Pinho should have stopped the shot.

Ibitinga's Juan Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Mangueira in the 53rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Breno dos Santos put in a rough tackle. Juan Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Dracena in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ibitinga's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Mangueira came free, but Juan Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Mangueira in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ibitinga's Teodoro Linares got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Carlos Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Betinho Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Ibitinga's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Mattos came free, but Juan Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Vargas made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Baltazar Vargas immediately put the ball in play. After 88 played minutes Real Astoria FC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Dracena. Betinho Dracena took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Leme. Juan Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ibitinga's Juan Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mattos in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Real Astoria FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
