After having played for 4 minutes, Alberto Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sou Vasco Animal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SW Dragon booed when Sou Vasco Animal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, João Paulo Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. João Paulo Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Umberto Gomes made a huge save. João Paulo Cunha scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sou Vasco Animal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! In the 24th minute, João Paulo Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sou Vasco Animal FC's Umberto Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Sou Vasco Animal FC from getting a goal against them. Pelle Forssell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Umberto Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Cunha scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sou Vasco Animal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Pelle Forssell scored to the left of an out of position Umberto Gomes, making the score, 4-0. Umberto Gomes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Salvador Fresco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pelle Forssell in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umberto Gomes saved Sou Vasco Animal FC from getting behind. João Paulo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Gomes having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Pelle Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Sanches hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Umberto Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Paulo Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Umberto Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Forssell in the 52nd minute of play. João Paulo Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Pelle Forssell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umberto Gomes was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Umberto Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Sou Vasco Animal FC's Umberto Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Cunha in the 60th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, SW Dragon's Pelle Forssell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umberto Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pelle Forssell in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sou Vasco Animal FC's Gláuber Veiga got a free kick in the 71st minute. When SW Dragon's Pelle Forssell in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sou Vasco Animal FC's goalie prevented a goal. Umberto Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Paulo Cunha went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, João Paulo Cunha notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Sou Vasco Animal FC's Umberto Gomes. Umberto Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute Pelle Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umberto Gomes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by SW Dragon's João Paulo Cunha. But to his dismay, João Paulo Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The supporters of SW Dragon booed when Sou Vasco Animal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. SW Dragon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
