When SW Dragon's Pelle Forssell, in the 8th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SW Dragon. The supporters of SW Dragon booed when Abertao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Pelle Forssell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SW Dragon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alexandre da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Paulo Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Amílton Paes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teoman Işıker's late challenge caught a Abertao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teoman Işıker helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Teoman Işıker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Paulo Cunha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Amílton Paes 21 minutes into the match. João Paulo Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amílton Paes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Pelle Forssell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Paulo Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Amílton Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Paulo Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernani Mendonça was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Abertao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SW Dragon:s goal. Amílton Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Abertao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Amílton Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Cunha in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Abertao getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marcelinho Dantas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, João Paulo Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SW Dragon's supporters rose to their feet, but João Paulo Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo Cunha in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Paes saved Abertao from getting behind. The SW Dragon fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when SW Dragon's Pelle Forssell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Abertao getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ernesto Medeiros hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the SW Dragon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
