Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manfredo Carioca started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Dinamo Brasil's Edson Trancoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Umberto Gomes. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Sou Vasco Animal FC's Michel Goiano got a free kick in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Edson Trancoso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sou Vasco Animal FC's Umberto Gomes. Umberto Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Umberto Gomes came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Brasil's Edson Trancoso. But to his dismay, Edson Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dagoberto Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo Brasil's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Edson Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Umberto Gomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edson Trancoso in the 23rd minute. If Caco Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Clóvis Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edson Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Umberto Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sou Vasco Animal FC's zone, Edson Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umberto Gomes came out of the goal and Edson Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Caco Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edson Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Umberto Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Brasil. Edson Trancosos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Umberto Gomes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Trancoso in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edson Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Umberto Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edson Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Gomes having to interfere. Dinamo Brasil made a substitution. Cássio Barral replaced Dagoberto Pena. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio Barral made a kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Beremundo Pantoja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beremundo Pantoja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gilmar Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dinamo Brasil booed when Sou Vasco Animal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar Mattos in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the game, Dinamo Brasil's Cássio Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Dinamo Brasil's Gilmar Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Gilmar Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Brasil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Cássio Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sou Vasco Animal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Brasil the free kick. The supporters of Dinamo Brasil booed when Sou Vasco Animal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Sou Vasco Animal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Furtado to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Gilmar Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Umberto Gomes. Sou Vasco Animal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Michel Goiano fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sou Vasco Animal FC's protests and gave Michel Goiano a yellow card for diving instead.
