Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) S.E. Indaial FSCMZ's Ulisses Madureira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Indaial FSCMZ's zone, Gonçalo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joélson Moraes came out of the goal and Gonçalo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, S.E. Indaial FSCMZ's Joélson Moraes got control of the ball when Alexandre da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulisses Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Abertao's Zé Paulo Mendonça got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Gonçalo Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulisses Madureira struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Amílton Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Indaial FSCMZ. In the 24th minute, Ademar de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gonçalo Vale came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Abertao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Vale couldn't finish the play. Alexandre da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Joélson Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Toni scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amílton Paes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47thth minute of the game Gonçalo Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Indaial FSCMZ's Joélson Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Abertao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.E. Indaial FSCMZ were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonçalo Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Alexandre da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Toni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Amílton Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Toni got free with Amílton Paes in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, S.E. Indaial FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre da Cunha came free, but Joélson Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre da Cunha in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre da Cunha in the 68th minute of play forced S.E. The attack was good, but when Luca Toni in the 81st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Indaial FSCMZ's zone, Gonçalo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joélson Moraes came out of the goal and Gonçalo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 93 in the game by Luca Toni from a close distance when the talented Amílton Paes managed to make a qualified save. Abertao's players were relieved. After 94th play minutes Ulisses Madureira shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Amílton Paes and just under the crossbar into goal. The Abertao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. S.E. Indaial FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
