When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giuseppe Pereira made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Fla Merda FC's Nestor Silva got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tiago Meira struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ronaldo Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferraria EC. After 58 minutes, Cauã Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferraria EC and the Fla Merda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fla Merda FC made a substitution. Eliseu Vergílio replaced Thiago da Mata. In the 60th minute, Cauã Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Bezerra came out of the goal and Ivo Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Eliseu Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fla Merda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard, long distance shot from Donato Domingues flew over the goal. Donato Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
