The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Víktor de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Cearense in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Eduardo Vianna could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Nuno Machado however easily saved by the left post. Nuno Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, S D Antequera's Luís Fabiano de Mendonça got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Vicente Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Jean Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Paraibano made a kick off. Víktor de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Giovanni Rosa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Víktor de Souza, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Cearense in the 96th minute of play forced Desportivo Apollo XIII's goalkeeper Víktor de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
