An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Barros in the 15th minute of play forced Toca Popeye's goalkeeper Josué Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Pettersson charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Pettersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 18 minutes into the match, Maranhão 18 FC's Ruy Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Toca Popeye got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Paranaense. In the 20th minute of the match Cristian Faria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josué Valadares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marc Pettersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Danilo Mandrak made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Marc Pettersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Mandrak was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Danilo Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Berger in the 31st minute of play. Danilo Mandrak made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Oswaldo Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauã Berger during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marc Pettersson took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Mandrak. Danilo Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Oswaldo Paranaense scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Mandrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Cauã Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toca Popeye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Pettersson in the 61st minute of play forced Maranhão 18 FC's goalkeeper Danilo Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Oswaldo Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toca Popeye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Maranhão 18 FC booed when Toca Popeye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Faria in the 73rd minute. Maranhão 18 FC's Danilo Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Berger in the 74th minute of play. Danilo Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play, Toca Popeye's Cauã Berger made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz-Henrique Pesquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Maranhão 18 FC's Ruy Alagoano got a free kick in the 91st minute.
