Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ferraria EC's Giuseppe Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 8 minutes, Iuri Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coringudo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrézinho Ramalho during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fiori Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iuri Sanches's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Coringudo's goalkeeper Marquinhos Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivo Cordeiro. In the 17th play minute Ivo Cordeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marquinhos Fontes. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Iuri Sanches put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Evaristo Varela. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iuri Sanches in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iuri Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Evaristo Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Jacinto in the 33rd minute of play forced Ferraria EC's goalkeeper Evaristo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giuseppe Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Iuri Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Iuri Sanches sped through Ferraria EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Varela.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iuri Sanches to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ivo Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferraria EC's protests and gave Ivo Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Ferraria EC defense, Iuri Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Varela. The Ferraria EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Varela should have stopped the shot. Giuseppe Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marquinhos Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes, Ferraria EC's Tiago Meira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marquinhos Fontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferraria EC reached it. 72 minutes into the match, Ferraria EC's goalkeeper Evaristo Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iuri Sanches. Iuri Sanchess short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Evaristo Varela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Enio Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuri Sanches in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evaristo Varela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iuri Sanchess short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Evaristo Varela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iuri Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Evaristo Varela made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iuri Sanches got free with Evaristo Varela in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Iuri Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ferraria EC's Evaristo Varela got control of the ball when Iuri Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Proença in the 97th minute of play forced Coringudo's goalkeeper Marquinhos Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Coringudo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ferraria EC throughout the match.
