Túlio Capixaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caetano Oliveira in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Catipora's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aílton Damião fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Túlio Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Carneiro in the 73rd minute of play. Catipora's Túlio Capixaba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Catipora from getting a goal against them. Valério Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís da Fonseca in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Catipora's Túlio Capixaba got control of the ball when Caetano Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Catipora's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aílton Damião fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Aílton Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Isaltino Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catipora and the Jucati FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Isaltino Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dieguinho Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catipora's protests and gave Dieguinho Cearense a yellow card for diving instead.
