When Luisinho Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Jucati FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Gaspar couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Jucati FC's Caetano Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Félix scored 4-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valério Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Beberibe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jucati FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Damião in the 94th minute of play forced Beberibe's goalkeeper Maurinho Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
