Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norberto Messias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Germano Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Araújo in the 3rd minute of play. Norberto Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute of the match, Agnaldo Dantas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Afonsinho Favoretto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 12th minute Túlio Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Andresa got a freekick which was hit by Denílson de Andrade. In the 15th minute, Túlio Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Passos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Túlio Cearense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Afonsinho Favoretto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 minutes of play, Andresa's Arnaldo Madureira made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th match minute, Passos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Norberto Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Agnaldo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Favoretto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Doriva Tasso. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Rubinho Araújo made the kick off in the second half. Afonsinho Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Messias in the 59th minute of play forced Andresa's goalkeeper Afonsinho Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonsinho Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Araújo in the 67th minute. Germano Barros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rubinho Araújo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 77 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Cearense in the 82nd minute of play forced Andresa's goalkeeper Afonsinho Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Túlio Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes, Passos FC's Doriva Tasso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonsinho Favoretto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Passos FC reached it. In the 92nd minute Raí Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Andresa defense, Norberto Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonsinho Favoretto. The Andresa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonsinho Favoretto should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Andresa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Passos FC.
