Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Figueiredo got the match started through his kick off. Mauriti's Daniel Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mauriti from getting a goal against them. After 6 played minutes Mauriti got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Duarte. Rigbiz FC's Diego Figueiredo suffered a sore thigh after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Marquinhos Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mauriti's Marquinhos Mandrak got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Rigbiz FC booed when Mauriti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe do Nascimento during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Rigbiz FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe do Nascimento. Adelino Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Romero in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Dinei Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mauriti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Prestes in the 23rd minute of play. Mauriti's Jerônimo Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Arthur Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dinei Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes in the game, Yan Vargas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Daniel Simão having to interfere. Sérgio Prestes struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Daniel Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rigbiz FC. After 42 played minutes Rigbiz FC got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Bastos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Prestes in the 45th minute of play forced Mauriti's goalkeeper Daniel Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerônimo Romero made a kick off. Felipe do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sérgio Prestes sped through Mauriti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Simão. Daniel Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Juvenal struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Daniel Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rigbiz FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Prestes in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Simão saved Mauriti from getting behind. Sérgio Prestes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mauriti's zone, Sérgio Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Simão came out of the goal and Sérgio Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Simão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. Robinho Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Rigbiz FC's Nereo Juvenal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rigbiz FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
