Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elano Damião took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Breckenfeld. Cacá Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a União Agrícola Barbarense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cacá Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Mauriti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Marcelinho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Carlinhos Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. União Agrícola Barbarense's Carlinhos Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Romero in the 10th minute of play. When Giovani Breckenfeld fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Agrícola Barbarense's protests and gave Giovani Breckenfeld a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Giovani Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Dinei Tinoco could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Carlinhos Galvão however easily saved by the left post. If Clóvis de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elano Damião's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Simão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dênis Luz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mauriti getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cacá Breckenfeld hit a great ball. When Víktor Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the União Agrícola Barbarense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Pimenta couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Dinei Tinoco notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of União Agrícola Barbarense's Carlinhos Galvão. Carlinhos Galvão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinei Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. Giovani Breckenfelds short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Daniel Simão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcelinho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Carlinhos Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mauriti's goalkeeper Daniel Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When União Agrícola Barbarense's Giovani Breckenfeld in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mauriti's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelinho Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Cacá de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daniel Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Marcelinho Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Elano Damião reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Simão. The goal made the score 1-1. Carlinhos Galvão came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Mauriti's Dinei Tinoco. But to his dismay, Dinei Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 83 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Breckenfeld. After a rather tough play, Mauriti's Dinei Tinoco got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Elano Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Giovani Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcelinho Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dinei Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Galvão having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mauriti had played much better football throughout.
