In the 3rd minute, RedDot F.C's Cléberson Corrêa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cléberson Corrêa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RedDot F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cléberson Corrêa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When Sérgio Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Brasília FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Nunes couldn't finish the play. Virgílio Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Azevedo in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the RedDot F.C defense, Gil Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgílio Mandrak. The RedDot F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgílio Mandrak should have stopped the shot. José Maria Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Cavalcante in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Mandrak saved RedDot F.C from getting behind. Felipe Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, Brasília FC's Sérgio Nunes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgílio Mandrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Cavalcante in the 33rd minute of play forced RedDot F.C's goalkeeper Virgílio Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgílio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Almeida in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Valdir Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Sérgio Nunes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgílio Mandrak skillfully saved the ball. Virgílio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Almeida in the 37th minute of the match. Enéas Almeida took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Mandrak. Virgílio Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 43rd minute, Enéas Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgílio Mandrak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. RedDot F.C's Virgílio Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Almeida in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jefferson Carioca to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Virgílio Mandrak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enéas Almeida got free with Virgílio Mandrak in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RedDot F.C's Virgílio Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save RedDot F.C from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, RedDot F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Linares came free, but Virgílio Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgílio Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Sérgio Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Abreu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Barbosa. Brasília FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Brasília FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Garcia to maneuver through the defense. When José Maria Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brasília FC's protests and gave José Maria Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brasília FC's José Maria Cavalcante got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enéas Almeida during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enéas Almeida hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Laerte Ceresso fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brasília FC's protests and gave Laerte Ceresso a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Brasília FC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Ceresso. 84 minutes into the match, Gil Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgílio Mandrak. RedDot F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 88th minute of the match, Gil Azevedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Virgílio Mandrak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wanderson Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Gil Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Virgílio Mandrak made a huge save. Brasília FC played a much better game than RedDot F.C and deserved their victory. The RedDot F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
