Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga started the match with the kick off. Henrique Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Carioca went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, RedDot F.C's Augusto Sabóia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henrique Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Sabóia in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Shamrock United got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga. The audience was convinced that Jefferson Carioca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Pires was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The supporters of RedDot F.C booed when Shamrock United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The RedDot F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as RedDot F.C's Charles de Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrique Pires. That made the score 0-5 after 54 minutes of play. 58 minutes into the match, Shamrock United's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Carioca came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Shamrock United's Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgílio Mandrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes Shamrock United got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Marquez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Sabóia got free with Henrique Pires in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Carioca in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Pires made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Augusto Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldão Marquez during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geovanni Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Henrique Pires made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Jefferson Carioca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Pires was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Charles de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Henrique Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, RedDot F.C's Henrique Pires threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jefferson Carioca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Augusto Sabóia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 78th playminute. In the 82nd minute, Augusto Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrique Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. 90 minutes into the match, Shamrock United's goal looked a bit too open when André Trevisan came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match, André Trevisan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henrique Pires saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match was over RedDot F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Shamrock United throughout the match.
