A collision led to Sev Hortolândia getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. José Paulo Salles hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, OvO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Rezende came free, but Joélson Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jozef Madej could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Joélson Fonseca made a huge save. Karol Swiderski in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joélson Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute, Jozef Madej got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Ernesto Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sev Hortolândia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, OvO FC's Joélson Fonseca got control of the ball when Jozef Madej tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeferson Goiano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ernesto Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Fonseca having to interfere. Joélson Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Swiderski in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enéas Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. Karol Swiderski scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joélson Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Karol Swiderski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sev Hortolândia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some careless play in the OvO FC defense, Ernesto Rezende kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joélson Fonseca. The OvO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Jozef Madej cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Joélson Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the game, Jeferson Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OvO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sev Hortolândia the free kick. A collision led to OvO FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Joélson Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Joélson Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Terasek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Sev Hortolândia were the better team. Sev Hortolândia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
