The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edinho Camargo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Hernani Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernani Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cléberson Corrêa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Doni Proença's late challenge caught a RedDot F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doni Proença helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 minutes, Edinho Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indios SS and the RedDot F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edinho Camargo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Virgílio Mandrak came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Indios SS's Charles Carioca. But to his dismay, Charles Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 37 minutes into the game, RedDot F.C's Augusto Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. André Trevisan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roberto Tinoco came out and tried to block the shot, but André Trevisan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. 3-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Luiz Fábio Tande elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fábio Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Trevisan took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Tinoco. Roberto Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When RedDot F.C's Luiz Fábio Tande in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Roberto Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Tande in the 84th minute of play. Thiago de Toledo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Charles de Almeida was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Basílio de Medeiros sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Virgílio Mandrak threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Basílio de Medeiros this time. Charles de Almeida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Tinoco. Indios SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. RedDot F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
