Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enéas Capixaba kicked off to start the match. Osvaldinho Vander hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. When OvO FC's Enéas Capixaba in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iguira SS's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 played minutes OvO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Gomes. 8 minutes into the match, OvO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Silveira came free, but Joélson Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Capixaba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Valdir Linhares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Sandrinho de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iguira SS's protests and gave Sandrinho de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. Sandrinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Cavalcante in the 15th minute of play forced OvO FC's goalkeeper Joélson Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmyr da Rocha hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Luizinho Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Iguira SS's Walmyr da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Sandrinho de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Iguira SS's Luís Guilherme Capixaba got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Joélson Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Cavalcante in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Iguira SS booed when OvO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Silveira in the 30th minute of play forced OvO FC's goalkeeper Joélson Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, OvO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho de Andrade came free, but Joélson Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lucas Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguira SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joélson Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ricardo Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OvO FC's protests and gave Ricardo Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Ricardo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ian Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Silveira was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Iguira SS's Lucas Cavalcante got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes, OvO FC's Enéas Capixaba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdir Linhares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OvO FC reached it. Lucas Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdir Linhares came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by OvO FC's Enéas Capixaba. But to his dismay, Enéas Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Enéas Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enéas Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, OvO FC's Enéas Capixaba got a free kick in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ian Silveira put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joélson Fonseca. Ian Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes in the game, Ian Silveira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joélson Fonseca having to interfere. Ian Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ian Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Joélson Fonseca to make any attempt to save it. Lucas Cavalcante got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Osvaldinho Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Ricardo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joélson Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Iguira SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
