Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Buzz's Dino Aguiar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Buzz's Manfredo Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válter Netto's late challenge caught a Buzz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válter Netto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Válter Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mythos Futebol Clube's zone, Manfredo Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Arantes came out of the goal and Manfredo Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Dino Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Manfredo Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buzz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute of the match Dida de Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomé Arantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manfredo Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. If Manfredo Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mythos Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anselmo do Vale hit a great ball. Mythos Futebol Clube's Tomé Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Paiva in the 24th minute of play. A hard shot by Válter Netto from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Leandro Souza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gildo da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Buzz's Gildo da Rocha got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Leonardo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Buzz booed when Mythos Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes, Buzz's Manfredo Sabóia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomé Arantes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buzz reached it. After some careless play in the Buzz defense, André Luiz Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Souza. The Buzz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Souza should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Sabóia in the 39th minute of play forced Mythos Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Tomé Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Souza came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mythos Futebol Clube's André Luiz Alves. But to his dismay, André Luiz Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Manfredo Sabóia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Arantes was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Gaspar was the one to do the kick off. Manfredo Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tomé Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buzz. After a rather tough play, Mythos Futebol Clube's Wilton de Amorim got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Wilton de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes, Eugênio Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buzz and the Mythos Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugênio Nunes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Leandro Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mythos Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Dino Aguiar scored to the left of an out of position Tomé Arantes, making the score, 2-1. When Leonardo Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mythos Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Gaspar couldn't finish the play.
