Reginaldo Esteves made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Flu Galático's Victor Furlan. Célio Dionísio took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Velasco. Antônio Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Flu Galático's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Correia came free, but Antônio Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Dionísio succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Flu Galático's Nicolas Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Dionísio in the 28th minute of play forced Flu Galático's goalkeeper Antônio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Marquez in the 32nd minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célio Dionísio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Flu Galático's Antônio Velasco got control of the ball when Tostão Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tostão Salles came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Los Bacanas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Salles couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Los Bacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Salles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Marquez in the 62nd minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Furlan scored 2-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Flu Galático's goalkeeper Antônio Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão Salles. In the 70th minute, Elivélton Correia made a precise shot to the right of Antônio Velasco. Flu Galático's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The audience was convinced that Victor Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olívio Arruda was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Caco Vianna hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes, Flu Galático's Victor Furlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olívio Arruda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flu Galático reached it. With a little luck, Flu Galático's Antônio Velasco got control of the ball when Tostão Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Flu Galático getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Victor Furlan hit a great ball. Tostão Salles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antônio Velasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Tostão Salles slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Bacanas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
