Alan Reis took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Arantes. Tomé Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Imperial FC's Chicão Vaz got a free kick in the 12th minute. If André Luiz Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Alan Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomé Arantes. Mythos Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Luiz Eduardo Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Alan Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If André Luiz Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 29 played minutes Imperial FC got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Gonçalves. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperial FC's goalkeeper Mazinho Motta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mythos Futebol Clube's Tomé Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Mythos Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes Mythos Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Santana. Tomé Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Reis in the 37th minute. Víktor Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luiz Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho Motta having to interfere. Tomé Arantes came out of the goal and Alan Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Arantes having to make a save. When Edgard Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mythos Futebol Clube's protests and gave Edgard Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Mythos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Christiano da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Christiano da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. André Luiz Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mazinho Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Alves in the 83rd minute of the match. Dorian Netto hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mythos Futebol Clube booed when Imperial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mythos Futebol Clube's Delfim Sena tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Imperial FC could leave the field as winners, despite Mythos Futebol Clube having more of the ball for most of the match.
