The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Flu Galático was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Miranda hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Dino Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17thth minute of the game Nicolas Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buzz's Leandro Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Custódio's late challenge caught a Flu Galático's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Custódio helped the player get up and apologised. Antônio Velasco was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Olívio Paiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olívio Paiva really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Leandro Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Marquez to make the kick off. If Nicolas Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buzz's attentive Eugênio Nunes managed to snatch the ball when Ricardinho Veloso made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Dino Aguiar sped through Flu Galático's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antônio Velasco. In the 63rd minute, Flu Galático's Nicolas Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Souza. Leandro Souza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Angelo Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Dino Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flu Galático's Antônio Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nicolas Marquez scored 3-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeu Bastos during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Buzz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Victor Furlan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 84th minute Dino Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Buzz's Olívio Paiva made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute Eugênio Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flu Galático players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buzz.
