Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicolas Marquez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Antônio Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazinho Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Prestes in the 11th minute of play. Nicolas Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mazinho Motta having to make a save. 22 minutes into the game, Chicão Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperial FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flu Galático the free kick. The supporters of Flu Galático booed when Imperial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano da Rocha in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Imperial FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Diogo Medeiros hit a great ball. Antônio Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano da Rocha in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano da Rocha in the 34th minute of play forced Flu Galático's goalkeeper Antônio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Alan Reis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Antônio Velasco. In the 39th minute, Christiano da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Flu Galático's Antônio Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Recife in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christiano da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. Antônio Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Alan Reis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperial FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a rather tough play, Imperial FC's Jefferson Recife got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Christiano da Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Antônio Velasco to make any attempt to save it. Victor Furlan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mazinho Motta. Mazinho Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Antônio Velasco made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Alan Reis sent off a good shot on target. Antônio Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano da Rocha in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, Imperial FC's Alan Reis made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Christiano da Rocha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antônio Velasco, passed just outside the right post. Christiano da Rocha scored 1-8 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Imperial FC's Christiano da Rocha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 89th minute Christiano da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Flu Galático fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Imperial FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
