In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Passamo EC's goalkeeper Erik de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Nogueira made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gino Matos however managed to control. When Cléber Silva fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Passamo EC's protests and gave Cléber Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Flu Galático were furious when Alan Prestes was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Victor Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gino Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik de Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Furlan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Erik de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Victor Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flu Galático fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Gualter Pinheiro tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Erik de Amaral. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-1 in the 77th minute. When Cléber Silva came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Passamo EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléber Silva couldn't finish the play. Passamo EC's Gino Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gino Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
