In the 9th minute, STEAUA BUCALESTI's Maurício Amorim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Teles. Danilo Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Giacinto Facchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson Massa in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ranko Tobă saved STEAUA BUCALESTI from getting behind. Arnaldo Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of STEAUA BUCALESTI booed when Los Bacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Teles made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Arnaldo Vasconcelos sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, STEAUA BUCALESTI's Arnaldo Vasconcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Teles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Los Bacanas FC's Danilo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Amorim in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, STEAUA BUCALESTI's Giacinto Facchetti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Teles. Danilo Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Danilo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Amorim in the 34th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Danilo Teles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Giacinto Facchetti fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STEAUA BUCALESTI's protests and gave Giacinto Facchetti a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes STEAUA BUCALESTI got a freekick which was hit by Giacinto Facchetti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giacinto Facchetti in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Danilo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Amorim in the 48th minute of play. Maurício Amorim scored 5-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Amorim to make the kick off. Danilo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yerry Mina in the 54th minute of the match. Ranko Tobă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Pereira's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Amorim came free, but Danilo Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giacinto Facchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Danilo Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yerry Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf Speed came free, but Danilo Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Amorim's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Danilo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giacinto Facchetti in the 78th minute of play. Maurício Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Dito Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Arnaldo Vasconcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Danilo Teles came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by STEAUA BUCALESTI's Maurício Amorim. But to his dismay, Maurício Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 95th minute, Arnaldo Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. STEAUA BUCALESTI walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
