A collision led to Buzz getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alex Custódio hit a great ball. Buzz's Leandro Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Reis in the 28th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Imperial FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano da Rocha. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Aguiar in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mazinho Motta saved Imperial FC from getting behind. Alan Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Dino Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Leandro Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Vaz in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Imperial FC's zone, Manfredo Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Motta came out of the goal and Manfredo Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Imperial FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Christiano da Rocha made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Buzz's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano da Rocha came free, but Leandro Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Dino Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buzz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imperial FC the free kick. Alan Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Leandro Souza made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Manfredo Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Imperial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Sabóia came free, but Mazinho Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Sabóia in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Chicão Vaz made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Souza. Buzz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 72 minutes into the match, Buzz's goalkeeper Leandro Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Reis. After a defensive mix-up in Buzz's zone, Alan Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Souza came out of the goal and Alan Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano da Rocha in the 81st minute of play. Leandro Souza made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Chicão Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Mazinho Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Sabóia in the 83rd minute of play. Leandro Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano da Rocha in the 87th minute of the match. Buzz were furious when Romeu Bastos was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buzz! After a rather tough play, Buzz's Alex Custódio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Imperial FC's Alan Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Leandro Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Reis in the 98th minute. The Buzz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Imperial FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Imperial FC.
