Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Regina Apostolorum's Elder Faria got a free kick in the 7th minute. Regina Apostolorum's Ruy de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Sena in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Regina Apostolorum got a corner. GaloGordo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilvan Maciel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 12 minutes, Dalmo Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GaloGordo FC and the Regina Apostolorum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalmo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ruy de Carvalho was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Pedro Luís Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Luís Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Wiliam de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Regina Apostolorum's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, João Vítor do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Regina Apostolorum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 27th minute, João Vítor do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 3-2 became the score in the 31st minute when Pedro Luís Sena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Regina Apostolorum fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Regina Apostolorum's João Vítor do Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38thth minute of the game João Vítor do Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GaloGordo FC's Eurico Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Luís Sena scored 4-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor do Vale in the 44th minute of play forced GaloGordo FC's goalkeeper Eurico Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmo Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ruy de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Vítor do Vale to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Regina Apostolorum's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Simões came free, but Ruy de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Pedro Luís Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. A hard shot 62 in the game by João Vítor do Vale from a close distance when the talented Eurico Alagoano managed to make a qualified save. GaloGordo FC's players were relieved. In the 64thth minute of the game Pedro Luís Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Regina Apostolorum's Ruy de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, João Vítor do Vale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eurico Alagoano. The goal made the score 5-4. In the 75th minute, Pedro Luís Sena made a precise shot to the right of Ruy de Carvalho. Regina Apostolorum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-4. The audience was convinced that Dalmo Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy de Carvalho was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. A collision led to Regina Apostolorum getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Wiliam de Mendonça hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, João Vítor do Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eurico Alagoano. João Vítor do Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-5. 87 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Sena notched a goal, 7-5, to the right of Regina Apostolorum's Ruy de Carvalho. Ruy de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, Regina Apostolorum's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Sena came free, but Ruy de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes, GaloGordo FC's Claudinei Faria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruy de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GaloGordo FC reached it. GaloGordo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Regina Apostolorum for a fine match.
