After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to GaloGordo FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. João Paulo Abraão hit a great ball. Romário Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eurico Alagoano having to make a save. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.Atlético Internacional's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dalmo Simões was slow to take the kick. During this time GaloGordo FC's players had a chance to rest. Dalmo Simões made a great header on GaloGordo FC's corner, it was just that C.Atlético Internacional's Cleiton de Moraes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 66th minute, Danilo Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Paulo Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cleiton de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmo Simões went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Romário Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eurico Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The GaloGordo FC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when GaloGordo FC's Dalmo Simões looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dalmo Simões struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cleiton de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GaloGordo FC. C.Atlético Internacional's Cleiton de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Simões in the 83rd minute of play. Cleiton de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Simões in the 84th minute of play. Osmar Dracena struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eurico Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.Atlético Internacional. When Osmar Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the C.Atlético Internacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar Dracena couldn't finish the play. Many of C.Atlético Internacional's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. C.Atlético Internacional may have spent more time on the ball, but GaloGordo FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
