Thanks to some nice moves Cristiano Senna could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Dida Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. Lauro Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Veados booed when S.E. Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to S.E. Palmeiras getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marquinhos Guimarães hit a great ball. Marquinhos Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, S.E. Dida Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Catarinense in the 70th minute of play. Orlando Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Veados booed when S.E. Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veados's Amadeu Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Durval Zonta charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Palmeiras booed when Veados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When S.E.
